EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) - Receiver Mario Manningham
and quarterback Andre Woodson suffered minor injuries during
the New York Giants minicamp for rookies and free agents
Saturday.
Manningham, a third-round pick out of Michigan, suffered a right
hip-flexor injury. Woodson, who was selected in the sixth
round, strained a left quadriceps muscle.
Both injuries occurred in the morning practice and neither
player was available for Saturday's afternoon session.
"I just came out of my break wrong and tweaked my hip flexor a
little bit," Manningham said. "I'll be out of there in no time.
It's nothing serious. This isn't going to set me back."
Woodson said he was disappointed to have to miss practice time.
"I can't wait to get back out there and hopefully do some good
things," he said....
